Adidas Harden Vol.2 Performance Review

With a different configuration and Rashad Williams’s design concept, Harden Vol.2 officially met everyone in February this year. What is the actual  performance in the court ?

Compared to the design of the Harden Vol. 1, Harden Vol. 1 will be better then the Vol. 2, but the design of the shoes is actually improved in terms of performance. Harden Vol.2 uses an extra module to cover the configuration of the full length boots, also it  used  a new Rogefiber technology at the forefoot  and the TPU with the engineering mesh to improve the protection of the feet; The use of a material similar with adidas Dame 4 .

For the ventilation ,it is nice .it used the mesh material  which will also have a certain effect on the air permeability of the shoes.  However, considering the thicker inner boots , the shoes are still a little stuffy.

For the cushioning , adidas Harden Vol.2 still used the Adidas  tech  and

it has changed the generation of the lateral colloid-restricted layer into only the forefoot at the same time , and the thickness of Boost has also increased  which making the area of the  bottom to increased the grip.

There is not much difference between the VOL 1 of  textured feeling. It only changes in density and arrangement, and it does not know what changes will be made in the grip and the wear resistance of the shoes.

Although the thickening of the full length Boost became more  heavier (a Eur 44.5  of Harden Vol.2 with a weight of 514g, and a pair of high-top combat shoes may be about 500g), but it is still adidas “The first popular products.”However, because there is no external module restriction, Boost has a slightly higher density than other full-length Boost sneakers (Crazy Explosive, etc.), so the foot feel is more substantial, but the feeling of “soft” and “bounce” in this sneakers
However, the cushioning of Harden Vol.1 is already good, isn’t it?

Packing more Boost pellets into the midsole made it firmer, creating more stability while also increasing overall impact protection.

For the supporting : The comfort of the full-length boots is more comfortable than other shoes , and the Harden Vol. 2 adds a TPU module to the lockdown the feet ,its Boost platform is very wide and you actually sit within it just a bit so you never really feel as high off the ground as you actually are. plus the heel’s thick heel lining will protect the heel.  This design configuration largely avoids the slight discomfort with Harden Vol.1, which is a great improvement.it is supportive despite riding so high off the floor in the heel. The TPU-wrapped forefoot ensured the Boost’s stability in this section while also acting as an outrigger ,we can feel the court feeling is nice .but the supporting jus t so so .

The forefoot of RogeFiber technology is indeed very useful. While not limiting the width of the shoe at the same time (much better than the Harden Vol. 1 ductility), the forefoot protection of Harden Vol. 2 is improved with TPU , and the forefoot of the shoe is also amazing, which is also considered a progress in the Vol.1 .

Sock-like construction and custom lacing system provide a secure and personalized fit, it is excellent for the design.

Here are some details of the   performance

Compare with other shoes , it performance well .

For the disadvantage , because of the design of shoes, we  saw the Harden Vol.2  has a little similar with Dame 3’s. Because the outer rubber coating is too spacious, and there is no accompanying support configuration, So the support of the shoes has become one of the biggest flaws of Harden Vol.2. In some side emergency stop we can easily see the shoes.

Overall,it is perfect . I loved the Harden Vol 2 and if the Harden Vol 2 had provided me with the same exceptional grip then I would have loved it as well.
